2020 Analyst Programme
Now in its ninth year, Tristan’s Analyst Programme is a three-year structured programme that supports new analysts in developing expertise across all aspects of private equity real estate. Successful candidates will work across multiple disciplines within Tristan, contributing to and gaining experience across the full investment management lifecycle including capital raising, acquisitions, portfolio & asset management and disposals.
The Programme commences every September in London and is open to applicants with an excellent academic record who are completing, or have completed a relevant under or post graduate degree such as Real Estate, Economics or Finance.
Upon successful completion of the three-year Programme, we expect analysts to be well positioned to further their careers within Tristan.
Submit your application: the crucial first step – we look for a thoughtful cover letter as well as a strong CV. We’ll aim to review both of these within five days of receiving them, and to outline the next steps in the process;
Connect with the team: if selected, you’ll be asked to arrange a short call with one of the Dartmouth team to discuss your application and so that we can start to get to know you better;
Interview and modelling test: for those candidates who impress, you’ll very quickly be invited to schedule a meeting with Dartmouth in-person to complete an Excel modelling test and to discuss your background and interest in Tristan Capital Partners in more detail – we’ll update you on this a couple of days after our call;
Further interviews with the Tristan team: after marking your modelling test and if we determine that you could be a good fit for us, from here we’ll be aiming to spend time with you, to get to know you more, and to learn more about your aspirations – this may take two rounds or three, but we want to be sure that we’re the right fit for you, and that you’re the right fit for us;
Job offer: and if all goes to plan, hopefully you’ll end up with an offer to join the team! Regardless, we’ll be offering support and feedback throughout the process to make sure that you’re able to benefit from the time you spend interviewing with us.
Below is an overview of the programme, as delivered by Joanne Rothwell, Head of the Analyst Programme.
